Monthly update – January 2020
The Theta-Zeta Chapter finished the Fall 2019 semester strong. We had 49 brothers get over a 3.0 GPA, which brought the Chapter average to a 3.04 – enough to beat the all-men’s GPA on campus. During the weekend of January 10 – 12, the Executive Committee attended the Spring 2020 Officer Retreat in Albuquerque, where they obtained the tools to prepare for the coming semester.
As Spring rush ends, we have recruited 24 new pledges which we hope to initiate as the semester progresses.
We are approaching the first ritual testing date on February 15.We anticipate having upwards of 5 certificates awarded, including 3 new Masters of the Ritual.

Theta-Zeta recruits 82 fall pledges
It’s an exciting time at Eastern New Mexico University, where we have recruited 82 men to join the Chapter!
Over the next few weeks, we plan to inspire them to become the best men that they can be during the pledging process, and we hope to initiate these fine men into our brotherhood.
According to numbers from Kappa Sigma HQ, this was the highest rush count across all of Kappa Sigma.
