Monthly update – September 2022

Leadership Conference

Our Chapter took a trip to Denver, Colorado for the Kappa Sigma Leadership Conference between July 29-31. The 28 brothers in attendance proudly took home the Founder’s Circle, Founder’s Award of Chapter Excellence (FACE), and the George Miles Arnold Cup for ritual proficiency.

Rush

The Theta-Zeta Chapter is proud to welcome our newest pledge class of 52 young men. They are excited to begin Pledge Education this weekend, and we look forward to initiating as many of these men as possible.

Kappa Sigma Sing Along

We recently acquired one of the original Kappa Sigma Sing Along vinyl records, and wish to thank Riley Daggett and Gene Gutierrez for bringing this album to the website, which you can find at thetazeta.org/songs, along with more information about The Easterners who recorded it.

Website updates

In preparation for the 60th Homecoming Celebration, we have updated the Memories page with a new way to view the images and higher-resolution Composites throughout the years. Keep an eye out for missing years to be added if we’re able to locate and digitize them! Don’t forget you can always submit new pictures to include in these categories, or if you have a whole event album, we’d love to add them! Please email webmaster@thetazeta.org with as much information as you would like. Captions below pictures are not necessary, but we would like to add as much information as you provide.

We have one event coming up soon.

The Theta-Zeta Chapter’s 60th Homecoming Celebration will be hosted during the ENMU Homecoming on September 30 – October 2! Online payments are available at thetazeta.org/homecoming to join in the Celebration. We hope to see you there!
